Jimi
Hendrix 'Good Vibes' 12 inch vinyl bootleg LP by Trade Mark Of Quality,
catalog number JH-113 (or) TMQ 71042. The cover has printed 'Studio
Out Takes' but it's actually rehearsals for the Royal Albert Hall concert on
February 24th 1969 in London England. The record also contains
interviews by Jay Harvey of KDAY radio in the Hollywood Palladium from March
1969.
I got this copy sometime around 1981, and I didn't get any information at
the time about it's origin. Examining it now, I find it a bit of a
mystery. It appears to be a 1972 copy of 'Good Vibes' with no insert
sheet (matrix number JH-113) and the insert sheet from a early 1980's copy
of 'Good Vibes' (TMQ71042) put on top.
On the insert sheet is the catalog
number TMQ 71042 under 'Lonesome Train' of the track list. Pressed
into the vinyl are the catalog numbers JH-113 from the master. Perhaps
'Trade Mark Of Quality' used the same master disk for pressing both times
and still had the old matrix number appearing on the it... I don't know...
If you have a copy, take a look and see, and please contact me and let me
know what you find on yours.
