Pictures of the Big Chute Marine Railway, along the Trent-Severn River in Southern Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada.   Built in 1977, its a 'one of a kind' unique engineering design, carrying boats over the land barrier at Big Chute.  It replaces the original marine railway (first picture) which was built in 1917 and is still there, but only used when the new railway is down.
