Photos
of my bus tour through Toronto, in an open-top double-decker bus. It
was a 2 hour tour in an early 60's original open-deck red Routemaster bus.
There are many bus and/or boat tours in Toronto, for this ride I'm on a bus
operated by 'The Bus & Boat Company'. They did a great job, and our
guide was very friendly, upbeat and informative.
City sites we pass are; CN Tower, Rogers Center, Royal York Hotel, Union
Station, Hockey Hall of Fame, Flatiron Building, First Canadian Place, Old
City Hall, New City Hall, Eaton Center, Queen's Park Parliament, Art Gallery
of Ontario, Harbourfront Centre, Bata Shoe Museum, Casa Loma, Yorkville,
China Town, Chum City Building, BCE Place, St. James Cathedral, Metropolitan
United Church, Canon Theater, Atrium on Bay, Dundas Square, Hospital for
Sick Children, Royal Ontario Museum, Michael Lee-Chin Crystal, Royal
Conservatory of Music, Varsity Center, Robarts Library, Sharp Center for
Design, Club District, Roy Thompson Hall, Massey Hall.
We would occasionally go under low branches, bridges and cables, so
remaining seated was a must. I captured a few images to illustrate.
Generally the pictures are event or reportage style, not trying to go for
fine art photography here.
